A new report has offered an update on the future of Riddle and Shinsuke Nakamura as they continue their quest for tag team gold.

With Randy Orton currently taking a break from WWE television, his partner Riddle has teamed up with Shinsuke Nakamura. The former New Japan Star is also without his own tag team partner as Rick Boogs continues to recover from a serious knee injury.

On the May 30th edition of Monday Night Raw, Riddle and Nakamura defeated The Usos via Disqualification putting them in line for the Undisputed Tag Team Titles. However, despite many expecting the bout to take place at Hell In A Cell, given that it’s just days away, it appears that might not be the case.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that the match is due happen at Money In The Bank on July 2nd.

It had previously been reported that Riddle was set to face Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Money In The Bank. Since this report, Money In The Bank has been moved from Allegiant Stadium to MGM Grand Garden Arena and Reigns no longer features in the event poster.

On the May 20th episode of SmackDown, The Usos took on RK-Bro in the main event where both the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships were on the line. After a hellacious battle, Jimmy and Jey Uso were successful in their quest to become the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, ending Randy Orton and Riddle’s second reign as Raw Tag Team Champions at 74 days.
