Riddick Moss has confirmed via his Instagram account that has a torn ACL. Even more impressively, the former 24/7 Champion confirmed he has, in fact, been competing on RAW Underground over the past two months with the injury.
Moss has been undefeated during his stint on RAW Underground where he’s faced off against the likes of Dolph Ziggler and Arturo Ruas. Moss has also gone undefeated while wrestling on WWE Main Event, which is recorded before WWE RAW in the ThunderDome.
The former NXT Superstar posted a lengthy statement on social media, stating that he’s also been squating 500lbs and deadlifting 600lbs while injured. The 30-year-old debuted on RAW in January as Mojo Rawley’s ‘offensive lineman’ but turned on Rawley less than two months later to win his first piece of WWE gold.
After losing the title, Moss would disappear for several weeks, before his impressive undefeated streak began between RAW Underground and Main Event.
At this point in time, there’s no word as to how long Riddick Moss will be sidelined for. ACL injuries are clearly very serious injuries. However, but Moss’ account of what he’s done while injured is testament to his own character and resilience.
Everyone at Inside The Ropes wishes Riddick Moss well in his recovery.
