Ricochet WWE Contract Update

Ricochet Thumb

According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Ricochet is contracted to World Wrestling Entertainment for another three years.

The report in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter comes hours after Ringside News were dragged across the coals by ‘The One and Only’ for an article and subsequent tweet that insisted that the star was seeking a swift exit from WWE.

However, thanks to Dave Meltzer, we now know that the star will not be going anywhere – unless granted an early release or let-go by the promotion – as his current deal lasts until summer 2024.

While his original contract, signed in 2018, was only for three years, the former WWE United States Champion signed a new deal with the company upon his main roster move in 2019.

Ricochet’s time on the main roster has been a series of hits and misses. Following his initial introduction alongside Aleister Black, which produced a rip-roaring WrestleMania showing in 2019, Ricochet feuded with The OC and traded the WWE United States Championship with AJ Styles and Samoa Joe and challenged Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at Super Showdown in Saudi Arabia on February 27, 2020.

Recently, the talent has been a mainstay on WWE Main Event – defeating Drew Gulak on January 7 – and the target of RETRIBUTION who have attempted to recruit the star after a trifactor of victories on Monday Night Raw.
