Is Ricochet joining forces with MVP in AEW?
At All In 2024, fans saw the former WWE star make his much-awaited arrival on Tony Khan’s promotion. Soon enough, he found himself among the top stars on the promotion and already had an invitation from another former WWE star, MVP.
At Grand Slam 2024, MVP made his shocking debut on the Jacksonville-based promotion and soon brought with him his former team member, Shelton Benjamin. The two stars are now on the path to recruiting more wrestlers for their faction. However, the journey has not yielded positive results till now. Benjamin is now scheduled to face Swerve Strickland on Fright Night Dynamite.
MVP had also approached Ricochet earlier on an episode of Dynamite in an attempt to have him join their faction. The former Intercontinental Champion’s recent Collision opponent Lio Rush was also approached to be a part of MVP’s faction. However, both the stalwarts have denied the invitation, for now.
Appearing in an interview with Lexy Nair on Collision, the former WWE star cleared his intentions of not joining hands with MVP. Fans then saw Rush interfere and steal Ricochet’s moment before the two stars eventually faced off in the ring later.
At present, Konosuke Takeshita and the former WWE star are engaged in a feud over the International Championship, as interference from Kyle Fletcher spoiled Ricochet’s opportunity at WrestleDream.
