Ricochet Gives Honest Opinion Of Logan Paul

WWE Superstar Ricochet spoke in a recent interview and shared his honest thoughts on Logan Paul.

On the July 31 episode of Chris Van Vliet’s podcast, Insight, Ricochet spoke candidly about his initial thoughts of Paul when he first joined WWE. Ricochet said:

I mean, I’ve never had any preconceived notions, I just think, you know, like, we have people come in all the time. So that was nothing new to me.

Ricochet also commented on Paul’s work ethic towards professional wrestling and praised the YouTube sensation for putting in the effort to be able to perform in his matches.

But I’m seeing like, he was actually at the PC training with Shawn [Michaels] and some of the people down there. And then he was like, putting the work in for the match with like, the tag match with The Miz and the other matches with The Miz, and like he’s putting the work in.

Why Are Ricochet And Logan Paul Having A Match At SummerSlam?

The feud and SummerSlam match between Ricochet and Logan Paul stemmed from a spectacular moment at Money in the Bank, where Ricochet delivered a breathtaking Spanish fly to the outside on Logan Paul while both were balancing on the top rope. The spot was planned by WWE to go viral to set up an eventual match between Ricochet and Paul at SummerSlam, however, this didn’t go as well as WWE planned.

This forced them to change plans and instead, the pair had an encounter on the July 10 episode of Raw which saw Ricochet and Paul brawl adding further fuel to the rivalries fire. On the July 31 edition of Raw, Ricochet and Paul brawled again, this time Paul took aim at Ricochet’s real-life fiancé Samantha Irvin.

The use of Logan Paul at WWE Premium Live Events brings up the debate of if part-time performers should have matches at big events. Fellow Superstar Sheamus has given his thoughts on the matter.

In a match that took place on the November 6th edition of WWE Raw, the finish to a match featuring the high flyer did not go as planned due to a suspected concussion.
