Ric Flair’s Last Match Sells Out

Ric Flair

Fans hoping to see the final match of WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair better have their tickets as the show has sold out in less than 24 hours!

On May 16th it was confirmed that Ric Flair will be stepping back in the ring for one final match. Flair hasn’t wrestled since competing against Sting back in September 2011 during his stint with TNA.

The announcement was met with a mix of intrigue, criticism, and concern, due to the Nature Boy being 73-years-old and having suffered a number of serious health issues in recent years.

It had initially been reported that the match at Starrcast would feature Ric Flair and FTR taking on the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express and Ricky Steamboat. However, Steamboat has since revealed that he turned down the invitation to come out of retirement.

Now Starrcast – the promoters of Flair’s final match – have announced on social media that Flair’s final match has sold out in less than a day with an opponent still not named:

“SOLD OUT Whether you like it or you don’t like it, learn to love it, because The Nature Boy is STILL the best thing goin’ today! Ric Flair’s Last Match has officially SOLD OUT in under 24 hours! Pre-order NOW courtesy of or friends at @FiteTV!: STARRCAST.com”

Ric Flair has recently shot down rumours that his fellow WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan could be his opponent in his final outing in the ring.
