Could the WWE Universe hear the glass shatter one more time?
“Stone Cold” Steve Austin has been posting multiple workout videos to his social media, looking in great shape and furthering rumour that The Rattlesnake may step back into the ring at WrestleMania 39 in Hollywood.
Steve Austin Last Wrestled Against Kevin Owens At WrestleMania 38
Following the success of Stone Cold’s return match in Dallas Texas in 2022, it has been discussed by many members of the WWE Universe whether or not the match against Kevin Owens was indeed his last.
With the Royal Rumble being the start of the road to WrestleMania, fellow WWE Hall of Famer was asked about a variety of topics, including the rumoured return of Austin and the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event.
Speaking on the To Be The Man podcast, Ric Flair has commented on Austin’s current physique while also speculating on a possible match at SoFi Stadium:
I just saw Steve put up a video, Austin, training really hard, so maybe he will do it. Maybe he will come out. You see the video? He’s always in good shape, always. But I’ll tell you what it’ll be, I think they’re already sold out, but it will sell out again, if Steve wrestles.
Later in the episode, Flair was asked if Austin appearing at the 2023 Royal Rumble could also be a possibility. The Nature boy stated that while he didn’t consider it, he is excited by the possibility of it:
Oh, no, I was strictly talking WrestleMania I never thought about that. That would be something that would be something. Man, Steve Austin, he looks great. He always stays in shape, but it would be very exciting for me personally to see Steve in it.
