Ric Flair had some big praise for Logan Paul.
The Nature Boy has seen and done it all in the world of professional wrestling, so it takes a lot to impress him — especially when not done by his daughter. However, the 16-time World Champion has taken a shine to YouTube star Logan Paul.
The star made his WWE in-ring debut at WrestleMania 38 and has earned plaudits every time he’s laced up his boots. Paul has wowed crowds with impressive feats of athleticism, and with how quickly he’s picked up the art of professional wrestling.
During an interview with Fox News Digital, Flair praised Paul for this lack of ability, even if he thinks he’s the last of a dying breed.
“I can name three [true athletes]. I can’t name 10. I can name three: Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle and my daughter. I have a hard time thinking about who are great athletes. If [Logan Paul] committed himself to it, yeah. He’s better than — I think I said it — probably 70% of the full-time guys,”
Flair added that he’s most impressed by Paul’s balls — meaning his willingness to jump from ladders — obviously.
“A good athlete can do anything and pull off anything. What impressed me about him is he’s got balls. To never do it, to just start jumping off a ladder and s— like that and never done that you’re whole life, it’s a little different,”
When Will Logan Paul Be Back In WWE?
While Logan Paul might have impressed Ric Flair by launching himself from ladders, that daredevil streak has put him in the crosshairs of Ricochet. The high-flyer smashed Paul through a table with an insane Spanish Fly at Money In The Bank, and their rivalry has continued to build in the weeks since.
It’s now been confirmed that Logan Paul will meet Ricochet one-on-one at SummerSlam on August 5th.
