WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair has claimed that he has an offer to face current TNT Champion and AEW star Sammy Guevara on an independent show.
Flair has been outspoken on a number of issues since he parted ways with WWE in the summer. He recently accused the company of trying to erase his legacy on social media and The Nature Boys has recently exchanged words with current Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.
Speaking on his Wooooo Nation Uncensored podcast The Nature Boy answered co-host Mark Madden when Madden suggested that event at Flair’s age of 72, the thought of one more match is never far away:
“Yeah, listen, it’s funny you brought that up because there’s a promoter in Israel that wants me to wrestle your buddy, Sammy Guevara in Israel. I said, ‘$100,000 and two first-class tickets, and I’m there. 50% [before] and 50% after I beat Sammy (laughs).”
Sammy Guevara has been TNT Champion since he defeated Miro on the 29th of September edition of AEW Dynamite. Guevara recently defended the championship against a man that Ric Flair knows very well, former Ring Of Honor Champion Jay Lethal.
Flair recently suggested he could help AEW pop a big TV rating if he and CM Punk met face to face in the ring with microphones in hand.
