Ric Flair Reveals His Current Dream WWE Opponent

Ric Flair might have wrestled his last match, at least officially, but that hasn’t stopped him from enviously looking at those still competing.

During his remarkable career Flair wrestled some of the best performers to ever step in the ring and that desire to test himself seemingly never went away. During a recent episode of his podcast, To Be The Man, the Nature Boy revealed who he would have liked to have faced out of today’s WWE roster.

Flair explained that because he’s wrestled the best out there, the only person really left for him would be Roman Reigns.

“But the guy I wish I always could have wrestled, like, even in my early 50s is Roman. You don’t think I wish I could have wrestled, that didn’t get to. Because I wrestled everybody else. Not my best but at least had a chance to be in the ring with him.”

Roman Reigns is currently on the run of a lifetime, having now been World Champion for well over 900 days. Reigns won the Universal Title back in August 2020 and added the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 38.

However, one of his biggest tests is waiting for him at WrestleMania 39 in the form of Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes. The pair are finally set to come face-to-face on the March 3rd episode of SmackDown.

Ric Flair Wants The Elite To Join WWE

One of the biggest stories in recent weeks has been the future of Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks. The rumours began after it was reported that WWE is looking to sign a big-name free agent other than former New Japan Pro-Wrestling star Jay White. To add further intrigue, it was revealed that Omega’s AEW deal was initially meant to expire in January, while he has a good relationship with WWE.

On a different episode of his podcast, Ric Flair said that the time was right for Omega and the Bucks to move to WWE.
