Ric Flair Says He No Longer Speaks To Triple H

Ric Flair & Triple H

Ric Flair has revealed that he no longer speaks to long-time friend Triple H.

The relationship between Triple H and Ric Flair goes all the way back to the early 2000’s and the creation of the now legendary stable Evolution.

During this period, Flair managed Triple H on television and became something of a mentor to The Game behind the scenes. Even long after the on-screen partnership ended between the pair, they often spoke of the love and respect that continued to exist between the pair.

Flair repeatedly described Triple H as one of his best friends, even when he was no longer with WWE.

However, speaking on a recent episode of his Wooooo Nation Uncensored podcast, Flair revealed that he and the former World Champion are currently not speaking. When asked about Triple H’s current lack of involvement with WWE, Flair said he didn’t know what was going on as he never hears from his former friend.

Triple H has stepped back from his WWE duties in recent months after undergoing heart surgery in September 2021.

“I have no idea either,” Flair said, regarding Triple H’s current standing with WWE. “He and I were incredibly close and now I never hear from him so I don’t know.”

Elsewhere, Flair addressed speculation surrounding Vince McMahon and a return to the ring for the 76-year-old WWE Chairman. The Hall of Famer said McMahon was leader the way for older performers.

“I think it’s great that he’s doing it,” Flair said. “He’s making a statement for all of us that are older. I could wrestle right now too but I’ve got blood thinners as a result of that blood clot so that kind of eliminates me from wrestling. I can get off them for a couple of days if I had to get in shape but I would never get in as good of shape as he does.”

During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, McMahon offered the SmackDown announcer the chance to compete at WrestleMania 38. It has suggested that this will eventually set up a match between the pair.
