Ric Flair has heaped praise on Bray Wyatt commenting that he never understood why WWE released him back in July 2021.
Following his crowd-pleasing return to WWE at Extreme Rules Bray Wyatt has resumed his spot as one of the biggest stars in the company.
The comeback marked quite the turnaround for Wyatt who was released on July 31st 2021 after not appearing on television for a number of months. However, following Vince McMahon’s departure from WWE a return appeared to be more and more likely, and so it eventually proved.
Speaking on his To Be The Man podcast, Ric Flair, who knows a thing or two about comebacks, sang the praises of the former World Champion. Flair said that Wyatt was one of the classiest guys in the business, revealing that he never understood why WWE ever let him go in the first place.
“Well, talking about Bray [Wyatt], I’m happy he’s back. I think he’s an extremely talented guy. I never understood why he was gone, to begin with. I’m glad he’s back, I think he’s very talented and, like I said, one of the classiest guys you’ll meet in the business today,”
Following Wyatt’s WWE return it has been reported that IMPACT Wrestling, AEW and AAA all reached out to him during his hiatus.
It has been confirmed that Bray Wyatt will make his next WWE appearance on the October 14th edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
