‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair is bringing his chicken wings to Nashville.
In tandem with Podcast Heat, Ric Flair announced Wooooo! Wings on June 23rd. The virtual chicken joint is set to launch on July 28th, just three days before Flair’s controversial final match hits the ropes.
Flair is partnering with Kitchen Data Systems for this virtual restaurant experience. The menu will reportedly boast flavours befitting the styles and history of Flair’s lengthy in-ring wrestling career. In a statement released by Podcast Heat and tweeted by PWUnlimited, plentiful info about Flair’s new endeavour was revealed:
Ric Flair Launches Wooooo! Wings Virtual Restaurant with Kitchen Data Systems
16-time World Champion and 2-time WWE Hall of Famer partners with technology and services company Kitchen Data Systems to roll out Wooooo! Wings, a virtual dining concept featuring
“Legendary Flavors. World Championship Wings.”
Nashville, June 23, 2022— Ric Flair announced today that Wooooo! Wings, a new virtual restaurant brand, will open for business July 28th with flagship locations in Nashville, Tennessee to be followed by wide national distribution.
Wooooo! Wings’ legendary flavors and world championship wings will be prepared by Kitchen Data Systems’ (KDS) KitchPartner restaurants. KitchPartners belong to a network managed by KDS’ proprietary software, which matches member restaurants with brands to launch new virtual dining experiences, bringing extra revenue streams for both brands and their restaurant KitchPartners.
The Wooooo! Wings menu, developed by “Team Flair” in conjunction with KDS’ in-house chef, celebrates one of the sport’s most charismatic characters with flavors that match his personal brand. The virtual restaurant opens with competitive advantages, bringing a reach of over 25M+ weekly from a combination of Ric Flair’s podcast, social media accounts and those of his To Be The Man podcast’s network, Podcast Heat.
“I love chicken wings and I really love flavors that hit you like a chop to the chest,” said Flair. “To be the man, you’ve got to beat the man, and these championship wings and legendary flavors from Wooooo! Wings are THE MAN!”
Wooooo! Wings jumps into the restaurant ring at an inflection point in the food industry, which saw a marked rise of delivery during Covid-19. At least once a week 80M U.S. households order delivery or takeout meals, while UBS’ Evidence Lab projects the market to hit $365B by 2030.
“Living legends deserve epic flavors,” commented Mike Jacobs, CEO and Founder of KDS. “We’re thrilled to partner with Ric Flair and his partner, Podcast Heat, to offer this exceptional Delivery-1st dining experience. Created by Mr. Flair with our chef, the Wooooo! Wings menu embodies The Greatest Wrestler of All Time’s passion for his sport and luxurious style in each chef-curated bite. KitchData is proud to have worked with Ric Flair on designing a menu worthy of his name, talent and, most important, his fans.”
Wooooo! Wings’ launch will coincide with Starrcast weekend in Nashville which will feature The Roast of Ric Flair and Ric Flair’s Last Match. July 31 has recently been declared “Ric Flair Day” in the city of Nashville.

At 73-years-old, Ric Flair still knows how to get the eyes of the wrestling world focused on him. The longtime NWA and WCW favourite shocked fans and wrestlers alike earlier this year when he announced he’d be getting back in the ring one last time.
In 2008, Flair was retired in a classic match with Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 24. While many deemed it a perfect send-off for the two-time WWE Hall of Famer, he made a controversial return to the ring in TNA in 2010. Flair’s last match to date was a September 2011 clash with long-time rival Sting on an episode of IMPACT.
Since then, ‘The Nature Boy’ has endured a litany of personal setbacks from the tragic death of his son Reid in 2013 to a life-threatening bowel obstruction and subsequent kidney failure in 2017.
Ahead of his final match, Flair has reportedly been struggling with inner ear issues. He will reportedly be off his blood thinner medications ahead of the bout as well. Perhaps most alarming of all is that the former Four Horsemen head honcho will be entering this final bout with a pacemaker.
