Ric Flair Hails Charlotte Flair As “The Greatest”; Comments On Possible Return To WWE Ahead Of Schedule

Ric Flair Hails Charlotte Flair As

Ric Flair has provided an update on Charlotte Flair’s road to recovery.

Towards the end of 2023, Charlotte Flair suffered a serious knee injury on SmackDown. It was later announced that the multi-time Women’s Champion would be out of action for 9 months. Due to the unfortunate timing of the injury, Flair missed WrestleMania 40 and remains in doubt to be ready in time for SummerSlam in August.

Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Ric Flair discussed the career of his daughter. Once again praising the WWE star, the Hall of Famer believes that Charlotte is one of the best in the entire company and is better than ever:

“I think she’s the greatest. I think she’s arguably one of the two or three best wrestlers, period, in the company,” Flair said. “And she looks better physically now than she did when she started. I mean, she’s so committed to meal plans and her workouts.”

With The Queen posting multiple updates on social media of her rehab and seemingly very much ahead of schedule, there has been speculation as to whether or not Flair may come back earlier than expected. Addressing her recovery and the possibility of this, The Nature Boy added that there will not be an early return:

“She’s so far ahead now in this rehab. but she just has to, you know, keep it in mind that she’s gotta follow Dr.’s dues and orders, and it’s got to be a nine-month recovery, no matter how good she feels.”

“To be the athlete that she wants to be and do all these Corkscrew Moonsaults and stuff like that, she’s got to be at a hundred percent.”
