Ric Flair Compares Brock Lesnar To Legendary Wrestling Tough Guy

Brock Lesnar

Ric Flair has paid a huge tribute to “word class athlete and badass” Brock Lesnar.

Over the course of his career, Ric Flair earned a reputation as one of the greatest wrestlers in history, winning the World Championship a record 16 times. While the legend has now hung up his boots, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t keep an eye on the stars of today.

During an appearance on Good Karma Wrestling with Gabe Neitzel, Ric Flair was asked about who he enjoys watching today outside of his daughter Charlotte. Flair said that he was a fan of the Judgment Day and The Bloodline, before heaping praise on Brock Lesnar.

The Nature Boy said that The Beast reminded him of wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race.

“I like that faction with Domink. I love the Usos. I like the Bloodline, I don’t know what they’re going to do with that, if they keep going but as long as its working, stay with it.

One of my big time favorites is Brock. He’s a hell of an athlete. Brock Lesnar is a world class athlete and a badass. Brock Lesnar spells badass. He’s today’s version of our Harley Race and no one was tougher than Harley Race. You grabbed hold of Harley Race, you were going to lose an eye, an ear missing, nose bitten off. You weren’t getting out of there easy.”

Brock Lesnar Heading To WWE Raw

Brock Lesnar’s most recent appearance came on Raw after WrestleMania 39 when he ended the show standing tall over a broken Cody Rhodes. Lesnar attacked the American Nightmare with a chair, the steel stairs, and smashed him through the announce table.

A week later, Rhodes appeared on Raw and challenged Lesnar to a match at Backlash. It has been announced that Lesnar will return to the red brand on April 17th to address his new rival.
