Ric Flair has claimed that he outsmarted Nick Khan to make sure he will be present at WrestleMania 38.
Despite initially claiming that he had left WWE on good terms in August 2021, Ric Flair has since become engaged in a very public war of words with Becky Lynch as well as taking aim at WWE President Nick Khan.
Speaking on the latest episode of his Wooooo Nation Uncensored podcast, Flair has now taken a fresh swipe at Khan. While discussing Stone Cold Steve Austin’s potential appearance at WrestleMania 38, Flair said that he wouldn’t be allowed at the event. Instead, he revealed he had rented a private box at the venue, “outsmarting” Nick Khan.
“Can you imagine the entrance in Dallas, Texas (at WrestleMania) if the broken glass (Austin’s entrance theme) and he walked out to wrestle? Oh my god,” said Flair. “I won’t be allowed at the event (WrestleMania) but I’m going to get in somehow. I already rented a box in AT&T (WrestleMania 38 venue), I outsmarted him, I outsmarted Nick Khan and got my own box (private box), (laughs)”
Although there has been no official confirmation that Steve Austin will be lacing up his boots one more time for WrestleMania 38, numerous reports have suggested that he will be wrestling at the event. It has been noted that Austin could be stepping into the ring with Kevin Owens, while a match featuring the Hall of Famer is said to be “on the card.”
Stone Cold Steve Austin hasn’t wrestled since March 30th 2003 in Seattle Washington at WrestleMania XIX where he was defeated by The Rock.
