Despite wrestling his last official match only a week ago, Ric Flair was back in action this weekend, brawling with a fellow legend in Puerto Rico.
On July 31st, Ric Flair competed in his last match, teaming with his son-in-law, AEW’s Andrade El Idolo to take on the team of Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal in Nashville, Tennessee with a who’s who of wrestling in attendance.
Ric Flair emerged from the match victorious after proving himself to be the Dirtiest Player In The Game one more time by laying Jeff Jarrett out with brass knuckles before locking in his Figure Four leg lock while Jarrett’s shoulders were counted to the mat by former WWE official Mike Chioda.
However, on August 6th, Ric Flair walked down the aisle once again, this time acting as Andrade’s Manager at World Wrestling Council’s 49th Anniversary Show in Bayamón, Puerto Rico.
Andrade was facing former WWE Superstar Carlito in the main event of the show. While he had Flair in his corner, Carlito was seconded by his brother, Eddie Colon – known in WWE as Primo.
Eddie moved to prevent Flair from interfering on behalf of El Idolo, only to be met with a poke to the eye. His further attempts to get involved led the Colons’ legendary father, Carlos Colon to get involved and the pair brawled all the way to the locker room.

With Ric Flair out of the way, Carlito was able to land a Backstabber on Andrade and get the pinfall victory.
