Rhea Ripley Reveals Which WWE Hall Of Famer Is Her Dream Opponent

Rhea Ripley has a dream match in mind with one WWE Hall of Famer!

On the August 22nd episode of Monday Night Raw in Edge’s home town of Toronto, ON, Canada, Edge faced off against The Judgment Day’s Damian Priest in the main event. While they were once allies, the two are now bitter rivals after Finn Balor joined the group and kicked former leader Edge out.

The Rated R Superstar was able to defeat Priest, but his victory celebration was short-lived as Rhea Ripley entered the ring and hit the Rated R Superstar with a low blow before all members of The Judgment Day attacked their former leader. Enraged on behalf of her husband, Beth Phoenix made her way from the crowd to ringside and picked up a chair, facing off with Ripley before warding off all members of The Judgment Day.

Speaking to Inside the Ropes’ own Kenny McIntosh ahead of Clash at the Castle, Rhea Ripley was asked about the possibility of facing the Glamazon in the future and revealed that the WWE Hall of Famer is actually her number one dream match.

“So I didn’t really know, I knew that we’re doing stuff with Edge and I was just sort of hoping I was hoping that she would turn up one night. And then she turned up on Raw, and I wasn’t sure if she was going to be a part of it until like, it happened pretty much.

“And I was like, You know what? I hope that people will start buzzing about this on the internet, because I want this match so damn bad. Like she is my dream match. And I try and plug it as much as I can in every interview that I get. I just want to step in the ring with her when she’s not holding the chair.”

Though Rhea Ripley’s teammates Damian Priest and Finn Balor were defeated by Edge and Rey Mysterio at Clash at the Castle, the group had the last laugh when Dominik Mysterio finally turned heel, delivering a low blow to Edge before clotheslining his own father.
