Ripley is scheduled to face Lyra Valkyria at NXT. Ripley’s upcoming match against Valkyria is the result of an angle shot in a promo segment on WWE’s social media channels. The clash between Ripley and Valkyria is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, July 25th, on NXT, although it will be a non-title match.
The challenge was issued when Valkyria interrupted Ripley’s interview with Byron Saxton. Showing no fear, Valkyria boldly challenged Ripley to a match, and the Women’s World Champion wasted no time in accepting the challenge. The announcement of this match has since been confirmed by WWE.
Furthermore, it has been revealed that Ripley will also be involved in another significant event on the July 25th NXT. Ripley is set to team up with new NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio to kick off NXT. Mysterio, who recently won the title, defended it on both Friday’s SmackDown show and Monday’s Raw.

Will Rhea Ripley Be At SummerSlam?
While it hasn’t been confirmed that Ripley will be having a match at SummerSlam, it has been rumoured that Ripley will face Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s World Championship at SummerSlam.
The two wrestlers have been in numerous backstage segments in recent weeks and Dave Meltzer spoke on the Wrestling Observer Radio, saying that was the working plan, so it seems likely that these segments could lead to an eventual match between Ripley and Rodriguez for the title at SummerSlam.
