Ripley is set to face RAW Women’s Champion Asuka in hopes of capturing the Championship at the ‘Grandaddy of them All’. WrestleMania 37 will mark the first event held by the company in front of a live audience since March 2020. The show, held over two evenings, will have up to 25,000 fans in attendance per night. Ripley will face Asuka, who has held the Championship for over 200 days, at night 2 of the event.
WrestleMania is no stranger to live musical renditions. Each year, ‘America the Beautiful’ is performed by established acts like Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin and Willie Nelson. Bebe Rexha was recently announced as stepping into the spot for this year’s show. Several bands and artists have also appeared to perform Superstar themes live such as Limp Bizkit, Motorhead and Drowning Pool.
