Following a hellacious six-person tag team match at Hell In A Cell match, Rhea Ripley has shown off a nasty injury that required some serious dental work.
Rhea Ripley has taken to Twitter to reveal a grim dental injury. ‘The Nightmare’ tweeted three photos, thanking Anderson Family Dental for taking care of her.
It’s unknown when, exactly, the injury took place, though Ripley took a stiff knee to the face during Hell In A Cell’s six-person tag team match. Additionally, fans have referenced an ill-timed placement during Ripley’s match on this past Monday’s Raw where she caught herself in the jaw with her own knee.
The images Rhea Ripley posted showed metal wire through her teeth that appeared to be holding them together:

Alongside being victorious at Hell In A Cell, Rhea Ripley also earned herself a future Raw Women’s Championship opportunity as she defeated Doudrop, Alexa Bliss, and Liv Morgan on Raw. Rhea will challenge Bianca Belair for the championship at Money In The Bank on 2 July, marking her first chance at the title in almost a year.
It’s unknown as of yet whether or not Rhea Ripley will require time off WWE programming for the injury, though it’s unlikely. This marks the first injury for the former Raw Women’s Champion since she joined the company in 2017.
In her five years with WWE, the real-life Demi Bennett has held the Raw, NXT, and NXT UK Women’s Championships, alongside the Women’s Tag Team Championships. Ripley has been classed as one of the company’s top prospects, with her late-2019 to early-2020 ascension through NXT playing a major factor in this.
