Rhea Ripley has opened up about the invaluable advice she received from Paul Heyman recently, with the new RAW Women’s Champion revealing the sage words said to her by the Special Counsel to the Universal Champion.
Speaking with Scott Fishman of TV Insider, Ripley – who became the first ever Superstar to win NXT UK, NXT and RAW or SmackDown gold at WrestleMania – would respond to a question about the best advice she’s received recently.
“It was Paul Heyman who said to me, ‘You can stay humble, but don’t stay silent.’ That really hit me because I’m a very humble person. I do my job and do what I’m told. Sometimes that isn’t the best way to do things. I will take that advice with me as I keep working.”
As RAW Women’s Champion, Ripley has no shortage of challengers – both because of her status and ability – with Charlotte Flair staking a claim last night, and WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella saying she’d “do anything” for a match with The Nightmare.
At only 24 years old, there’s plenty of time for Rhea Ripley to wrestle anyone she chooses, though – and mixing Paul Heyman’s incredible advice with her own ability and potential… Well, the possibilities are endless.
