Rhea Ripley Makes Return To In-Ring Action

Rhea Ripley is finally back in the ring!

Over the weekend, Judgment Day member Rhea Ripley wrested for the first time in four months.

During a WWE live event on Saturday in Sioux City, Iowa, Rhea Ripley made a comeback to the ring in a mixed gender tag team match, pairing up with her faction mate Damian Priest, and they would be taking on Dolph Ziggler and Nikki A.S.H.

The last time that Ripley fought in the squared circle was back in June when she scored a victory in a fatal four-way match on Monday Night Raw that gave her a shot at the WWE Women’s Championship. However, she would end up being removed from a scheduled match at Money in the Bank from “brain/dental injuries,” according to Ripley herself.

On Instagram, Ripley said this to a fan who questioned her injury:

“Brain/teeth. Can’t see a brain injury. Stop being incompetent and reaching at nothing.”

Dave Meltzer also spoke about Ripley’s health back in the summer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

“Her teeth were knocked loose in a match and she had braces put in. The braces were evident on her the last time she was on TV. But the other thing must have been…when she says her brain, that usually means a concussion.

The two things that WWE doesn’t like to talk about are COVID and concussions. She didn’t quite use the word ‘concussion’ but she had a brain injury is what she said.”
