Rhea Ripley vs Raquel Rodriguez at Night of Champions also featured a surprising name.

Following the controversial finish to the Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton match at the June 28 edition of Night of Champions, the Stamford-based promotion followed it up with an extremely violent match. In the second bout of the night, Ripley faced off against Raquel Rodriguez in a Street Fight.

Both women took each other to their limits in an extremely closely contested match. However, mid-way through the bout as ‘Mami’ gained an upper hand, she saw the surprising interference of new Judgment Day member, Roxanne Perez.

Interfering in the no-disqualification match, Perez tried to help Rodriguez before Ripley shifted her complete focus on The Prodigy. Launching a beat-down on her at the ringside, The Eradicator then followed it up by throwing the former NXT Women’s Champion in a trash can and continuing her brutal attack.

The surprising interference failed to cause a significant impact, as Rhea Ripley finished the match by beating Raquel Rodriguez with a ‘Riptide’ from a table off the top rope.

Rhea Ripley Revealed The Creative Mind Behind Her Viral ‘Stink Face’ Moment

Last year, ahead of WrestleMania 40, Rhea Ripley, during her rivalry with Nia Jax, performed a ‘Stink Face’ on her during a live tour match. The humorous yet NSFW spot went viral on the internet soon.

Recently, during an interview with Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Rhea Ripley opened up on the spot:

I knew it was gonna be big, but that sh** exploded. It wasn’t even my idea. It was Nia’s idea. She’s like, ‘Yeah. And then you stink face me.’ I’m like, ‘Ok, if you want.’ But then, before all of that, I was like, ‘I think I should do like the Rikishi pull them up, just do the little dance beforehand.’ I was like, ‘I’m not gonna get it spot on, so I’m just gonna do my own thing.’ But I’ll do the whole gimmick and yeah, it still pops up on my Twitter, it’s wild. I got so much publicity off that, but I also got so much like, negativity. I was like, ‘Guys, you need to calm down.’”
