Rhea Ripley Has An Emotionally-Charged Reaction To CM Punk’s Title Loss; It’s Heartbreaking

Rhea Ripley reacts to CM Punk's shocking loss at SummerSlam 2025.

In the aftermath of CM Punk’s shocking loss at SummerSlam 2025, Rhea Ripley had an emotionally-charged reaction on social media.

Earlier on the premium live event, CM Punk finally vanquished his 12-year title drought as he dethroned Gunther with two GTS to win the World Heavyweight Championship. However, Seth “Freakin” Rollins spoiled Punk’s emotional celebration as he fooled everyone by indicating his injury is completely healed, which led to his successful cash-in of the Money in the Bank briefcase to become two-time world champion.

The entire wrestling fraternity, superstars and fans alike, were buzzing following the “Ruse of the Century” from Rollins. One of those is former Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, who happened to be one of Punk’s closest friends in the locker room.

The Eradicator was visibly upset about what transpired in New Jersey as she broke her silence on X (Twitter). She exclaimed that the World Heavyweight Championship should be back on Punk’s waist and that WWE should give it back to him, after finally overcoming odds.

“Nobody f’n talk to me… give it back to him!,” Ripley tweeted.

Ripley will have a chance to win the women’s world championship at SummerSlam Sunday. She will be in a Triple Threat match against IYO SKY and the reigning champion, Naomi.

Drew McIntyre reacts to Seth Rollins’ legendary Money in the Bank cash-in on CM Punk

While Rhea Ripley was furious with the SummerSlam Night One finish, which saw a surprisingly injured Seth Rollins cashing in his briefcase on CM Punk to win the World Heavyweight Championship, Drew McIntyre completely loved the move from The Visionary.

In an interview with Cathy Kelley, The Scottish Warrior claimed that Punk deserved that disappointing moment and tagged it as “karma.”

It can be remembered that Punk screwed McIntyre, who already won the World Heavyweight Championship against Rollins at WrestleMania 40, by beating him down outside the ring while he was the guest commentator.

This allowed then-Money in the Bank holder Damian Priest to cash in successfully on The Scottish Warrior, by nailing The South of Heaven chokeslam to win the world championship.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for CM Punk after his disappointing loss.
