Rhea Ripley Raw

Rhea Ripley will be bringing her brutality to Monday Night Raw full time starting on the Monday, 22nd March edition of the show.

Ripley had been advertised as coming to Raw since after the Royal Rumble event. WWE has now confirmed that the Australian superstar will be making her official Raw debut this coming week.

The former NXT Women’s Champion has competed on the red brand once in the past. Appearing on the February 10th, 2020 edition of Raw, Ripley defeated former WWE Superstar Sarah Logan in less than a minute.

Ripley competed at WrestleMania 36 where she defended her NXT Women’s Title against Charlotte Flair. Flair had won the 2020 women’s Royal Rumble and chose to challenge Ripley at ‘the show of shows’. The Queen defeated Rhea Ripley after locking her in her Figure-8 Leg Lock.

Ripley had won the NXT Women’s Championship from Shayna Baszler in December 2019. Holding the title for 99-days in her only reign. Ripley was the inaugural winner of the NXT UK Women’s Championship in 2018. By defeating fellow antipodean star Toni Storm in the final of a tournament, Rhea Ripley held the championship for just over four months. Storm defeated Ripley at NXT TakeOver: Blackpool to claim the title in January 2019.

Rhea Ripley made her initial WWE debut in 2017 as part of the Mae Young Classic. Ripley would make it to the second round before losing to one half of the first-ever NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions, Dakota Kai.

There is currently no word on the plans for Raw Women’s Champion Asuka for the upcoming WrestleMania in April.
