Rhea Ripley had another bone-chilling fan encounter on Valentine’s Day that left her shaken.
There can be little debate about the fact that Rhea Ripley is one of the most popular stars in WWE at the moment. The star has been a role since joining The Judgment Day a few years ago and has excelled in her gimmick as Mami. However, such popularity and stardom can also be detrimental to a star’s personal life, as Ripley has detailed several occasions where fans invaded her and her husband Buddy Murphy’s privacy. She has taken to social media and also spoken about this in interviews, stating that fans should know when to draw the line.
However, it seems that very few fans actually listen as Rhea Ripley once again detailed a harrowing fan encounter during Valentine’s Day this year.
Rhea Ripley Detailed How A Fan Reached Her Home During Valentine’s Day
Speaking on Cheap Heat Podcast, Mami detailed how a fan wrote a poem and came to her house during Valentine’s Day. Fortunately, both Ripley and her husband Buddy Murphy were away in Australia, and the fan could not reach out to them. But they looked into the Ring camera and slipped a poem through the door.
I had someone rock up on Valentine’s Day, this past Valentine’s Day. And luckily I was in Australia ’cause like — she just stared into my Ring camera. She left a poem under my door, saying that like we’re the sun and the moon and we’re meant to be together.
If I was home, I would have answered the door and I would have been so uncomfortable. And I don’t want to feel uncomfortable in my own damn house. Like, that’s just not okay. Everyone should have their space to like go home and relax and not have to worry about someone random looking through your window or knocking on your door.”
The former women’s champion also detailed how important it was for superstars to have a safe space where they can relax and not have to stress about other things.
Some, not all of them — but some of them do think that they own us because we are on live television weekly. And I don’t stand for that. I’m a human being as well… I don’t want random people rocking up at my door to like mark out over me.” [H/T Ringside News]
Rhea Ripley was recently in action at SummerSlam, where she lost a Women’s World Title opportunity against Naomi and Iyo Sky.
