Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. agreed to go their separate ways before Nikki took a turn for the villainous side, attacking her former partner.
Dissension between Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. has been building for some time, especially since the two lost their tag team titles to Carmella and Queen Zelina on the November 22nd episode of Raw.
When the two made their way to the ring, Nikki declared that she and Rhea wanted to challenge Carmella and Queen Zelina to a rematch for the Raw Women’s Tag Team Championships. However, Rhea Ripley admonished her partner, saying that’s not what they’d talked about and that they’d agreed to talk about the Royal Rumble.
Nikki became upset at her partner’s response, asking if Rhea wanted to break up with her. Ripley tried to be kind about the situation, but said that maybe it’s best the two went their separate ways after they had a good run. The almost-superhero agreed that she would split amicably as long as Rhea said she still believed in her. Rhea agreed, hugged her former partner, and said she wanted them to always be friends.

After the two hugged, Nikki posed on the ropes and smiled for the crowd. However, when a wistful Rhea Ripley offered her a fist bump of friendship, the almost-superhero took a turn for the villainous side and attacked her former partner, leaving her shocked and laying in the ring.
As she made her way up the ramp to celebrate her newfound confidence and power, she uttered the words “Almost superheroes don’t need any friends.”

Calling themselves Super Brutality, the pair reigned as Women’s Tag Team Champions for 63 days after pinning Natalya and Tamina to capture the titles in September of 2021.
