Rey Mysterio Pushing For First-Time-Ever WWE Show

Rey Mysterio is hoping that WWE can continue to make history with a future event.

Following the announcement earlier in the year that WrestleMania 41 would emanate from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, many fans called for a TV taping to take place in the unique venue The Sphere. While most did not think it could be possible, the UFC Noche show back in September took place inside The Sphere and was very well-received, resulting in even more demand for a pro wrestling event to take place in the venue.

While speaking with Adrian Hernandez for Unlikely, the Hall of Famer recalled his memories of being at the UFC event and how the pro wrestling company would definitely be able to make it work:

“When I heard Dana White picked that place for a one-night show, and it was a one-night show….When I walked into that place on UFC Noche, I was like, ‘Wow, and the first thing I imagined was a WWE event here. The logistics….you can make it work. There’s no way you won’t make it work just like Dana [White] made it work, so I’m really hoping that one day we put on a Raw, SmackDown, or whatever WWE wants to put in there. I think it’s worth it.”

In a previous interview, AEW star Jeff Jarrett also gave his thoughts on the probability of a pro wrestling event being hosted at The Sphere.

Also in the interview, Rey Mysterio revealed how is able to age slower despite being nearly 50 years old.
