Madison Rayne updated fans on her condition following an injury scare in her return to AEW Dynamite.
The February 21st episode of Dynamite saw Madison Rayne return to in-ring action for the first time since wrestling in Ring of Honor in August of 2023. This marks Rayne’s first AEW match since January of 2023, where she teamed with Skye Blue to take on The Baddies in a dark match during a taping of Rampage.
In her All Elite Wrestling return, Rayne faced off against Deonna Purrazzo, who is set to challenge Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s Championship at Revolution. Near the end of the match, fans were concerned when Rayne took a nasty-looking bump that saw her land on her head. The moment was replayed on television, and officials checked on Rayne before Purrazzo picked up the win with an ankle lock.
Rayne continued speaking with medical staff on the outside of the ring throughout the commercial break before being helped to the back.

Thankfully, Rayne took to social media to update fans and let them know that despite the injury scare, she’s ok. She also called out some social media users critical of her performance, writing:
“Hi I’m okay! Thanks so much to everyone who celebrated my Dynamite return & those who checked in on me afterwards.
To those who have never stepped into a ring but tweeted awful things at me w/ zero knowledge of what actually happened- thanks for watching. Have a great day”
Hangman Adam Page also had fans concerned following Dynamite, but thankfully he was just being “good at his job” and convincingly selling his ankle injury.
