Return Date for Historic WWE PPV Revealed

Five New WWE Stars Officially Added To Roster, Including Mysterious Faction And New Champion

The return date for one of WWE’s most historic premium live events has now come to the fore.

A few months ago, the rumors of an Evolution II PLE were making the rounds on the internet, with many speculating that it was only a matter of time before WWE brought back the historic PLE. Evolution made history in 2018 by becoming the first all-women’s premium live event in WWE history. Many top names became a part of the iconic show. It was a sign that the company had moved on from the ‘Divas Era’ and was intending to focus on some great women’s wrestling. In that regard, the first-ever Evolution PLE emanated from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York, on October 28, 2018.

Now, WWE has revealed the second edition of the PLE. Evolution II will take place on July 13, 2025, one night after Saturday Night’s Main Event, which is being heavily rumored to be hosting Goldberg’s retirement match.

Both shows will emanate from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. It remains to be seen who will headline Evolution this time around.

The first-ever WWE Evolution PPV was headlined by Ronda Rousey and Nikki Bella

The first Evolution PPV was headlined by Ronda Rousey and Nikki Bella, with the former retaining her RAW Women’s Title. The stars were involved in a heated rivalry in the build-up to the show and had an enthralling match.

While Rousey is no longer with WWE, Nikki Bella recently made a surprise appearance during the Women’s Royal Rumble match this year. The contest was eventually won by Charlotte Flair. Bella has since teased returning to the promotion.

If Nikki Bella does return in time for a match at WWE Evolution 2025, it would certainly have fans on the edge of their seats.
