RETRIBUTION could be in trouble as tension in the group and a possible split between the five-person team was teased on Monday Night Raw.
During Raw, Mace and T-Bar of RETRIBUTION would face off against Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, The New Day. The New Day would win the match with Kofi hitting his Trouble In Paradise for the victory. However, T-Bar and Mace may have had the match won after hitting their own impressive finishing move – High Justice. Rather than go for the pin Mustafa Ali demanded that the tandem hit the move again. This hesitation potentially cost RETRIBUTION a much-needed victory.
Mustafa Ali let his frustration spill over after the match. Taking to the microphone, the group’s leader berated T-Bar and Mace before pushing Slapjack and eventually storming off alone.
RETRIBUTION debuted on the main roster in the autumn of 2020. Their in-ring record is poor, with the team only picking up one tag team victory on Monday Night Raw. This occurred in November 2020 when Ali, T-Bar, Slapjack, and Mace defeated Bruan Strowman, Keith Lee, Riddle, and Sheamus.

The team is made up of Mustafa Ali, T-Bar who competed as Dominik Dijakovic in NXT. Dio Maddin who briefly appeared as part of the Raw commentary team in 2019 portrays Mace. Slapjack performed in NXT as Shane Thorne and Reckoning is Mia Yim, who also competed previously in NXT.
Kofi Kingston recently singled out Mustafa Ali for a singles match down the line following Kingston’s return from a jaw injury.
