A new report provides more information as to whether or not fans will see Roman Reigns acting as Head of the Table throughout the summer.
The future of Unified WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns has been the cause of much speculation after he indicated that he might be moving away from being a full-time WWE Superstar at a recent live event.
Earlier today, a report from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio indicated that current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns would be taking a hiatus from WWE beginning on June 19th, and that he was removed from advertisements from that date until after Labor Day, which falls on September 5th this year. Meltzer did note that Reigns was still advertised for Money in the Bank in July, but wondered what that meant if he would not be appearing on television.
However, a new report from Andrew Zarian contradicts the idea that Reigns will be taking a complete hiatus, and instead indicates that while he will be working a severely reduced schedule, he will still appear on television and Premium Live Events.
“Spoke to someone over at WWE regarding Roman & his schedule moving forward. It’s not expected for Roman to take extended time off. He will be on PLEs & TV. The only change will be with smaller market house show, which is why he showed his gratitude to the fans in Trenton NJ.”
