Renee Paquette Issues Emphatic Statement After Husband Jon Moxley’s AEW All In Loss

Renee Paquette and husband Jon Moxley at AEW All In: Texas

AEW presented its third annual All In event less than 24 hours ago, and the fallout continues to heat up on the way to Forbidden Door and All Out. Jon Moxley was finally dethroned of the AEW World Championship by Adam Page, but Moxley’s personal life was also a hot topic of discussion during All In Weekend. Paquette is now confirming her stance after Saturday’s epic main event.

Hangman became a two-time AEW World Champion at All In: Texas. Moxley was dethroned in the chaotic 36-minute Texas Deathmatch main event, ending his record-setting fourth reign at 273 days. The Death Riders’ terror campaign across AEW took a major hit this weekend after kicking off last year when the former Dean Ambrose turned on Bryan Danielson, who made a surprise appearance on Saturday night.

The brutality during the match was a major topic on social media among fans and industry insiders. The bloodshed horrified Paquette at one point.

The Purveyor of Violence has been big on keeping his personal life out of the storylines, but footage of an uncomfortable exchange between Moxley and Paquette aired before All In, showing how the former Renee Young expressed concern with her husband’s ongoing storyline. However, the Canadian fan-favorite took to X today with a SFW statement to make one stance clear: she will always support her husband, no matter what.

“Let the records show, my husband is a bad mfer,” Renee Paquette wrote.

Jon Moxley Set For AEW Collision Homecoming

AEW will begin its Chicago residency at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom on Wednesday with a live Dynamite. Collision will be taped the next night as fallout continues from All In: Texas. AEW will wrap the residency with the Collision tapings on Thursday, July 31.

Amid concerning rumors on his AEW future, Jon Moxley has not been announced for this week’s post-PPV Dynamite, and could still appear, but Adam Page will be there to celebrate his World Championship win. Jon Moxley is currently featured on advertising material for the July 30 Dynamite in Chicago, and the August 14 Collision taping at the Andrew J. Brady Music Center in Cincinnati, OH, along with Marina Shafir and Claudio Castagnoli.

The August 14 Collision taping in Cincinnati will be a special homecoming return for the Jon Moxley. However, the leader of The Death Riders and his crew have not been announced for any matches or segments as of now.

All In saw Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta team with IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion Gabe Kidd for a loss to World Trios Champions The Opps. The post-match angle saw The Death Riders destroy Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata, then take out Samoa Joe with a Pillmanized chair stomp.
