Former WWE announcer, Renee Paquette, has sent out an open invitation to Vince McMahon to appear on her Oral Sessions Podcast.
Paquette, who was better known in World Wrestling Entertainment as Renee Young, recently asked her viewers for ideas for guests for future episodes of her popular show. What she didn’t expect was a reply from a fan who suggested she push to get her former boss Vince McMahon on the show.
With tongue firmly in cheek, the expectant mother took to Twitter to send out an open invitation to professional wrestling’s biggest name to join her for a chat, stating:
“Hey @VinceMcMahon you down?!”

While a sit-down interview with Vince McMahon would be an eye-opening experience, even Paquette knew the unlikeliness of such an interview happening hence her amused emoji which accompanied the tweet.
A former host of The Score Television Network where she fronted The Right After Wrestling show, Renee Paquette joined WWE in 2012 as Renee Sterling before being renamed Renee Young, the name she would continue under until her departure from the company in 2020.
Though she began life in the wrestling industry as a backstage interviewer, Paquette made history in the company when she became the first ever permanent female commentator on Monday Night Raw in 2018. She would later be moved to Friday Night SmackDown before being installed as the host of the popular WWE Backstage for FOX.
Departing the company following the cancellation of WWE Backstage and to pursue other ventures, the star’s Oral Sessions Podcast has been a smash-hit with fans worldwide with her latest guest being AEW President, Tony Khan.
