A new report has claimed that not only is Renee Paquette expected to join AEW she could be set to debut imminently.

Just over two years after leaving WWE it appears that Renee Paquette could be about to return to professional wrestling. A new report from SEScoopshas claimed that the announcer and interviewer is set to join AEW. Furthermore, she could make her debut on the October 12th edition of Dynamite which comes from her hometown of Toronto, Canada.

It had earlier been reported that those within WWE expected Paquette to sign with AEW after they reached out in an attempt to get her to return.

The host of ‘The Sessions’ is married to current AEW World Champion Jon Moxley who recently signed a new five-year deal with the company. The new deal will see the star also take up mentoring and coaching roles, as well as being tied “exclusively” to AEW and their partners.

Interestingly, Moxley had been working without a contract prior to putting pen to paper on a new contract.

Renee Paquette signed with WWE in 2012, remaining with the company until August 2020. During her time with WWE, appearing under the name Renee Young, she worked in a variety of on-screen roles, becoming the first woman to hold a permanent position on the Monday Night Raw commentary team in 2018.

The star left the company following SummerSlam 2020.
