Renee Paquette has revealed that she and Jon Moxley’s first daughter will be named Nora in tribute to Paquette’s maternal grandmother.
Back in November 2020, then-AEW World Champion Jon Moxley subtly revealed that he had a “pregnant wife at home” – whipping the internet into a frenzy about Renee, before an ecstatic Tony Khan confirmed the news on Twitter, calling it “the best news ever broken on Dynamite.”
The former WWE broadcaster previously discussed her pregnancy with People Magazine, saying:
“I’m just in the waiting period now, but I’ve had such an easy pregnancy. I’ve not been sick, I’ve been able to work out the whole time, I’ve launched my podcast, so I’ve just been busy and I’ve actually been able to just enjoy it.”
“I’m obsessed with being pregnant — I love it. It’s funny, I saw some friends the other day and I was like, ‘Yeah, it sort of feels like it’s that trick that Mother Nature does where it’s like, ‘You love being pregnant.’ Now the next pregnancy is probably going to knock my ass down!”
Speaking on the latest episode of her Oral Sessions podcast, Renee Paquette discussed with her own mother what her baby girl will be called.
“Ok, so we’re naming our baby Nora which is a tribute to your mom who was Eleanor. Nobody called her Nora but it just seemed to me like a nice little homage to Nanny without it being full Eleanor. But just have a little bit of Nanny in.”
“She was the best and it does make me sad that Jon never got to meet Nanny but I do love that he was so on board with us naming our daughter after her. It was such a no-brainer, one hundred percent that’s her name.”
Nora’s father could be holding gold in AEW by the time she comes into the world. Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston are set to challenge for the AEW Tag Team Championship at Double Or Nothing.
