Former WWE star discusses wrestling future.
Just hours before Crown Jewel 2024, Fightful Select and PWInsider noted that former champions and promising wrestling sensations, Baron Corbin, Indi Hartwell, and Tegan Nox were released by WWE.
Now approaching the 90-day mark since her release, former NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell opened up on what the future holds for her. Discussing the uncertainty lying ahead, the 28-year-old addressed her wrestling future.
In a recent YouTube vlog, Hartwell claimed that she is still young and has a lot more to contribute to the industry.
“With each passing day, it is getting closer to my date of free agency, which is exciting but also scary, because I don’t know what the future holds. I have been getting a lot of tweets, comments, and people in real life asking me if I’m going to continue wrestling, and it was something that I really had to think about when I got released. But come on, I’m only 28. I’m only 28, I have got so much wrestling left in me, and that’s why I’m signing these photos.”

She is next scheduled to appear at the Wrestlecon event in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 1, a few days after her no-compete clause ends.
In recent news, the recently released Tegan Nox confirmed she is officially a free agent.
Former WWE Star Baron Corbin Open To A Return
Last year in November, WWE decided to not renew Baron Corbin’s contract as the former champion departed the promotion. During his latest appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Baron Corbin claimed how a return to his former promotion still cannot be ruled out.
“I don’t think (the door) ever closes (to WWE). I mean, how many people, look at the roster now of guys. Cody, Drew, Punk. I mean Punk, the guy who said he would never, ever, ever, ever go back.”
