reDRagon will be challenging for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Revolution after emerging victorious in a huge battle royale.
The February 23rd episode of AEW Dynamite opened with a stacked tag team battle royale, where the winners would head to Revolution to challenge for tag team gold. However, there will be one more challenger determined on March 2nd.
After a series of quick eliminations early on, Private Party where also eliminated in short order, much to the disgust of Matt Hardy who walked out on his young charges.
The Young Bucks eliminated Ortiz, before FTR took care of Nick Jackson. Trent was also in the thick of the action for much of the bout, at one point being saved from elimination by Orange Cassidy who was on the outside to a huge ovation.
The final four men remaining were John Silver, Kyle O’Reilly, Matt Jackson and Dax from FTR, although Dax was taken out while wrestling on the apron by a returning Bobby Fish.
The end of the match came with Kyle O’Reilly and Matt Jackson seeming to be on the same page against John Silver. However, it was O’Reilly who outsmarted Jackson, after convincing the Young Bucks star to eliminate Silver, he followed up by throwing Jackson out to earn the win.
Although the action wasn’t quite done there.

After the match reDRagon and The Young Bucks got into a heated exchange over how the match had ended, which served to only heighten the tension which already exists between the two teams. While the rivals argued, Hangman Adam Page ran to the ring looking for revenge against O’Reilly and Fish who attacked him last week.
As he beat down reDRagon, the Young Bucks backed out of the ring. At this, Adam Cole ran out to get involved but was taken out by Page, although he was saved from a Buckshot Lariat by the Bucks. However, John Silver jumped the three men throwing O’Reilly into the ring to be flattened by Page.
As the chaos died down, Page grabbed a microphone and said that he would emerge victorious at Revolution.
