Recent AEW Signing Expected To Appear Soon

A notable AEW signing is expected to make their TV return soon as part of their officially full-time run with the promotion.

Like many overseas talent who have appeared for All Elite Wrestling in the past, former STARDOM wrestler Mina Shirakawa recently announced that she would be leaving the promotion. It was later reported that Shirakawa would become All Elite, which was later confirmed. According to a new report, fans won’t have to wait long to see the former Wonder of STARDOM Champion make her return.

As reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Shirakawa is set to appear on programming imminently and has been discussed for an appearance over the next few weeks. It is also noted that the former STARDOM star is expected to receive a significant push upon her arrival.

Shirakawa is best known for her involvement in the 2024 storyline between Mariah May and Toni Storm that saw the friendship shatter ahead of All In, where May defeated Storm to win the Women’s Championship. Storm defeated May in the rematch to win back her title.

Shirakawa competed at the start of the year for the crossover event Wrestle Dynasty, which saw her lose the Undisputed British Women’s Championship to Mercedes Mone.

AEW Star Loses Title

The aforementioned Mone match saw The CEO capture her 3rd championship as Mone also reigned as the TBS Champion and NJPW Strong Women’s Champion at that point. However, following the events that took place at NJPW Resurgence, Mercedes Mone saw her title reign come to an end.
