Reby Hardy – the wife of AEW star Matt Hardy – has had her say on the alleged backstage fight between CM Punk and The Young Bucks after All Out.
CM Punk is the talk of the wrestling world, and not just because he became a two-time AEW World Champion with his defeat of Jon Moxley at All Out. The main topic on everyone’s minds is the comments made by Punk during the post-All Out media scrum, and the backstage altercation that followed.
Punk verbally laid into a host of people including Hangman Adam Page, the AEW EVPs – Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks, MJF, and his former friend Colt Cabana during his appearance.
Following the media scrum, the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega reportedly confronted Punk over his comments, and a backstage altercation ensued. Throughout Labor Day in the United States, more details became available about the fight, with some reports stating that Punk initiated the physicality by punching Matt Jackson and also that Punk’s trainer Ace Steel threw a chair at Nick Jackson and bit Kenny Omega.
With many people from the world of wrestling wading into the controversy, Reby Hardy made her feelings known as she appeared to send out a message of support to The Young Bucks on TikTok:
“without the bucks AEW wouldn’t exist. I cannot imagine showing up in their house and talking sh*t on them like that.”
Hardy then followed up by posting a screenshot of a Tweet from CM Punk in May 2022 when he appeared to be standing up for Naomi and Sasha Banks after they walked out of WWE. It read:
“Doesn’t matter if your opinion of your coworker is positive or negative. Stand with them. Because they’ll do the same thing to you and you’ll wish someone helped. Trust me. You’re expendable. Together you’re unstoppable.”
