Eagle-eyed fans may have noticed that Finn Balor was absent from the most recent episode of Monday Night Raw but a new report has offered an insight into the whereabouts of The Prince.
After failing to become number one contender for the WWE Title the week before, Finn Balor clashed with Chad Gable on the November 1st edition of the show. The match was praised by fans far and wide, but on the following episode of the show, Balor was conspicuous by his absence.
However, a new report has shed some light on why the former NXT Champion missed the show.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Finn Balor will be remaining in the UK for the rest of the tour that is currently ongoing. Most recently, Balor defeated Sheamus at the show in Leeds the same night that Raw was held stateside.
As part of the WWE Draft Finn Balor was shifted over to Monday Night Raw following his feud with Universal Champion Roman Reigns. While he was unable to regain the championship that he lost back in 2016, he gave Reigns all that he could handle at Extreme Rules.
After making it all the way to the finals of the King of the Ring tournament Balor re-debuted on Raw in the Fatal-Four-Way Ladder Match to determine the number one contender for the WWE Championship. It was a match that was eventually won by Seth Rollins.
It was also recently revealed that Balor will be part of Team Raw as they take on Team SmackDown at Survivor Series. One man who now won’t be part of that team is Dominik Mysterio.
Despite being named as one of the original five competitors, on Raw Adam Pearce said that Mysterio would only keep his spot if he could defeat Bobby Lashley. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the young star was beaten from pillar to ring-post by the former World Champion.
The result is that Bobby Lashley will now join Balor, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and Rey Mysterio in taking on the blue brand.
