Potential Reason Brock Lesnar Made His Return At Raw Season Premiere

A new report sheds some light on why Brock Lesnar shocked the world with his Raw return on the red brand’s season premiere!

At the season premiere of Monday Night Raw on October 10th, Bobby Lashley was scheduled to face Seth Rollins for the United States Championship.

However, after Lashley made his entrance for the match and cut a promo about his dominance in WWE, the Brooklyn crowd was shocked to hear the sounds of Brock Lesnar’s theme tune resounding throughout the arena as the Beast Incarnate made his return to the company for the first time since losing to Roman Reigns in a Last Man Standing match at SummerSlam. He proceeded to deliver multiple F5’s to Lashley before locking in a Kimura, leaving the United States Champion writhing in pain.

Despite his injuries, Lashley agreed to face Seth Rollins as scheduled, and when he was unable to lock in the Hurt Lock due to the damage to his arm, he fell victim to multiple Stomps and Seth Rollins emerged victorious as the new United States Champion.

A new report from Andrew Zarian shed some light on the decision to have Brock Lesnar return on Raw, saying that it could have to do with Bray Wyatt not making an appearance after his own stunning return to the company at Extreme Rules. Instead, another cryptic QR code appeared on the show and Wyatt transmitted a garbled message to “revel in what you are.” He is advertised to appear on the upcoming episode of SmackDown on FOX.

“USA network and WWE are both very happy with the direction of Raw. Lesnar returning on the show felt like a “make good” to many at USA for not having Bray on Raw following the buzz from Extreme Rules.”

Brock Lesnar wasn’t the only one to make a shocking return on Raw as Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson also made their returns to the company, reuniting with AJ Styles to even the odds against The Judgment Day.
