New reports have given some insight into the company-wide talent meeting WWE held ahead of Money in the Bank.

In recent months WWE has seen a lot of turmoil in its ranks. Vince McMahon recently stepped back as Chairman and CEO while the company’s board investigate allegations of misconduct relating to a $3 million payment made to a former employee he is said to have had an affair.

The investigation has also unearthed older non-disclosure agreements that surround claims of misconduct made by other former female WWE employees that involve both Vince McMahon and Head of Talent Relations, John Laurinaitis. Laurinaitis has now been placed on administrative leave.

On June 17th it was announced that, while the investigation continues, Stephanie McMahon would serve as WWE’s interim CEO and Chairwoman.

It is in this role that McMahon led a company-wide talent meeting ahead of Money in the Bank on July 2nd with Nick Khan and Triple H also in attendance. According to WrestleVotes, the meeting addressed many topics and was well-received by those in attendance. Fightful backed this impression up, saying a source informed them that the “vibe was positive”.

“According to sources, interim WWE CEO Stephanie McMahon led a company wide talent meeting earlier today at the MGM Grand to address a multitude of topics. Source said the meeting was generally well received.”

Following Money in the Bank, Vince McMahon joined Stephanie McMahon, Triple H and Pat McAfee at UFC 276, with the stars being caught on camera during the event.
