Raw Women’s Championship Match Announced For Raw

Becky Lynch with the Raw Women's Championship

It has been announced that Becky Lynch will defend her Raw Women’s Championship on the November 1st edition of Monday Night Raw.

After Becky Lynch walked out of SmackDown with the Raw Women’s Championship after an awkward exchange with Charlotte Flair, The Man hasn’t had to wait long for a new challenger.

On the most recent episode of Monday Night Raw, Becky Lynch came to the ring to address the fans and toast her new championship. Lynch pointed out that she was never beaten for the title after winning it at WrestleMania 35 while explaining that she was happy to be back on the red brand.

The Man said that she had overcome the odds at Crown Jewel before reading out a list of potential new challengers.

This brought out familiar foe Bianca Belair who pointed out that she was never pinned at Crown Jewel. What’s more, she has wins over every top female Superstar in the division which puts her in line for a title shot. She called Lynch insecure and in need of validation before the Irishwoman hit back telling her “get to the back of the line bitch!”

At this Belair attacked the champion before Lynch tried to retaliate with a kendo stick. However, Belair fought back using the kendo stick on Lynch, then attempting to hit the KOD. Lynch quickly escaped before heading up the ramp.

Lynch said that she would put her Raw Women’s Championship on the line against Belair just not tonight.

Later on in the show it was announced that the match will take place on November 1st.
