Randy Orton has revealed the surprising and unique warm-up that he employed at WrestleMania 24 involving rap superstar Snoop Dogg.
Taking to Twitter to correct an earlier post that suggested that his meeting with Dogg took place a year later at WrestleMania 25, ‘The Viper’ had this to say:
It’s come to my attention that I smoked some ganja (for the first time) with @SnoopDogg at WM24 NOT 25 Ps not THE first time, you marks, but the first time with snoop mutha f****n DO double G #pregame not #postgame

At WrestleMania 24 Randy Orton would successfully defend his WWE Championship in a triple threat match with Triple H and John Cena. Orton would then steal the victory from Triple H, punting him in the head while ‘The Game’ had Cena pinned. Orton would cover Cena for the win and successful title defense.
Snoop Dogg was at the event to act as the ‘Master of Ceremonies’ for the Playboy BunnyMania Lumberjack match. WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix would team with Melina to defeat Maria Kanellis and Ashley Massaro. Dogg would get involved in the action, hitting a clothesline on an interfering Santino Marella. Snoop Dogg would make a further WrestleMania appearance at WrestleMania 32. Dogg would perform his cousin Sasha Bank’s entrance theme for her triple threat match to crown the WWE Women’s Champion.
Snoop Dogg has been involved in the wrestling business as recently as January 2021. Appearing on AEW Dynamite alongside his fellow judge on TNT’s ‘Go-Big Show’ Cody Rhodes. Dogg would hit a now infamous ‘Snoop splash’ off the top rope onto a prone Serpentico.
Randy Orton recently laid down a challenge to an NXT Superstar to enter his ‘viper’s nest.’
