During the November 27 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, it was revealed that ‘The Viper’ Randy Orton would once again be the special guest on A Moment of Bliss on November 30.
The former WWE Champion will be the guest of ‘Little Miss Bliss’ as he seeks to hunt down ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt, following the evil entity stalking his prey in recent weeks.
Wyatt’s fascination with Orton began following Hell in a Cell after the Missouri native had defeated Drew McIntyre to become WWE Champion.
Twenty four hours later, Bray was reminded of his old friend and foe burning down the Wyatt compound before setting a trap for the talent along with Drew McIntyre during the then champion’s first visit to Alexa’s show.
The ambush resulted in Drew McIntyre brutalising his slippery foe and stabbing him in the eye with a pen.
Since then, Orton has been terrorised by the evil entity who cost ‘The Viper’ a WWE Championship opportunity on November 23. Following the Triple Threat Qualifying Match, ‘The Fiend’ appeared on the apron behind Orton and stared him down.
Randy Orton and ‘The Fiend’ are headed for a showdown, that much is clear, as the nightmarish soul seeks revenge for his loss all the way back at WrestleMania 33.
It is currently unknown where and when both men will collide, though the Royal Rumble is the most likely choice thanks to the size of stage and amount of eyes usually cast on the event.
With Edge slated to return to the company in time for one final war with the former ‘Legend Killer’ at WrestleMania, it’s likely that Orton will find himself the next victim of ‘The Fiend’ who has also teased that he has WWE Championship Drew McIntyre in his sights as we rapidly approach the thirty seventh anniversary of ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All.’
