Randy Orton Predicts Big Things For Je'Von Evans Following Match On WWE NXT

Randy Orton sees a bright future for WWE NXT star Je’Von Evans.

Making a guest appearance on the second episode of NXT on CW, which aired live from his home state of Missouri, Orton faced off against the rising star in the first time ever encounter. Although Evans was unable to put away the 14-time World Champion, he was able to impress The Apex Predator with his performance.

Appearing in a digital exclusive after the show, Orton gave a lot of praise to Evans and sees a bright future in the NXT star’s career:

“I got to work with an incredible talent tonight, only 20 years old. You know him, he’s bouncy, Je’Von Evans. Dude, I’m very excited to see where he goes in the future. He’s gonna be around for as long as he wants to be.”

Continuing, Orton also praised Evans for showing respect to the business and that if he remains on course he will be a star in the future:

“I think that he needs to keep doing what he’s doing. But what I noticed first and foremost after meeting him for the first time today, he’s incredibly humble, he has nothing but respect for the business and the guys like me, the old fuddy-duddies that have been here for over 20 years, and you know what, that means a lot.”

Also on NXT, Oba Femi’s streak came to an end.

Another WWE NXT Star Wants Randy Orton

With more than 20 years of experience and one of the most famous names on the entire roster, Orton is understandably very high up on many star’s lists of dream matches. Speaking in a recent interview, a former NXT Champion said that Randy Orton was right at the top of their list of possible WWE dream matches.
