In a recent stream by Insiderz TV and initially reported by Kotaku, Mace and Mansoor, who were recently released by the WWE, revealed that Randy Orton paid a fan a hefty sum of $1000 to level up his character in the critically acclaimed video game Elden Ring.
According to the stream, Orton found the game to be too difficult in its early stages and sought assistance from a dedicated fan. The fan, whose identity remains undisclosed, was tasked with grinding runes for Orton’s character and then to invade Orton’s game world and drop the runes for Orton to pickup.
While some argue that Orton’s decision to pay for in-game progression undermines the spirit of fair play and achievement, others only wish that The Viper had come to them so they could reap the rewards for themselves.
