Irish star Becky Lynch kicked off Friday Night SmackDown in Dublin, Ireland. This was WWE’s first stop on its latest tour of the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Europe, which will culminate at Clash in Paris on August 31st.
The Man highlighted that this was also the first televised WWE show in Dublin, as the fans cheered loudly for the hometown hero. However, she flipped the table, stating that the Irish men and women do not deserve her or a televised wrestling event.
But before going full heel mode during her homecoming, Becky Lynch revealed an interesting detail about the time she attended a WWE show in Dublin as a fan.
Randy Orton Made Eye Contact With Becky Lynch At WWE Dublin Live Event, She Says It Made Her Life
During the August 22 SmackDown episode’s opening segment, Becky Lynch catered to the fans as she received a rapturous reception. She recalled when she attended a Dublin WWE show in her childhood, where Randy Orton was present.
According to the now WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, the 14-time World Champion made eye contact with her, as Lynch stated, “I swear to God, it made my life!”
She quickly took a left turn, though, as she began to berate Dublin to the extent that the fans began ro chant for the former Women’s IC Champ, her fellow Irish colleague, Lyra Valkyria.

Becky pointed out that Valkyria will not receive another opportunity so long as she is the titleholder. This was in reference to their SummerSlam encounter’s stipulation. But despite how things transpired in the recent past, however, fans seem to be clamoring for Lyra Valkyria to challenge Lynch again.
